In the image above, college graduates are shown receiving their diplomas and then walking off the stage. As they continue to walk, the path abruptly ends, and they are sent on a free fall marked "unemployment." This depicts the current situation the American job market is in. Despite finishing years of college, graduates have had an increasingly hard time breaking their way into the job market. With the economy in such a pitiful state, jobs are becoming more and more scarce; unemployment rates are at a high. Amid the chaos, those who recently graduated find themselves among the thousands and thousands of other without a job or any means to support themselves. It is better to stay in college, as graduating and walking into the real world is the same as sitting around without a job. Until the economy improves, graduates will face this fate for a long time to come.
