In this political cartoon, we see a representative of the PGA. His arms are wide open, as if to receive a hug. Money symbols replace his eyes. Speech bubbles read: "Welcome back, Tiger! All is forgiven!" This is referring to Tiger's scandal and leave from the PGAs, and his subsequent return. While everything Tiger did was an insult to the PGAs, they want him back because he is the best golf player on the planet, and can still earn them much money; forgive and forget, as it were, but this approach is an insult in of itself. This is perhaps a fine example of capitalism or greed. They want to forget everything Tiger did to insult himself and the sport in order to make money. His scandals and temper tantrums on the course are a mockery of the sport and of himself. Now, this doesn't mean Tiger should be banned from gold entirely; he hasn't done anything to warrant that. However, he needs to shape up and improve his attitude, on and off the gold course. Perhaps bumping down his pay and letting him work to earn his one prestigious title of world's best golfer and the pay that goes with it.
