In this cartoon, we see a split image of graduates waiting in line at an unemployment center. On the left side are two men, one a graudate, and the other seems like he hasn't been in school for a while now, conversing with the graduate saying, "Just Graduated? Congratulation Kid!...Your Whole Future Is Ahead Of You!..." On the right are people waiting in line to be assissted at the unemployment center. This cartoon shows that umemployment is still one of the major concerns today. Although employment has increased, umemployment is still at a rate of 9.7%. Yet children are motivated everyday to do their best in school, and to make the best of the oppurtunity presented before them, but when I look at our umemployment rate it gravitates my attention to ask the questions," Where will I end up after I graduate from school? Will I be one of the lucky person to be employed? or Will I be visiting the unemployment center frequently as the people the cartoon because all that happened, were all my dreams became hopes ?"
