In this cartoon we see an airplane, a family riding a airplane on the wing saying if they give up all those things they can still afford to fly, and the co-pilot reaching his hand out to the family and said, "Hey! Handholds are extra!" What the cartoon mean is the price of airline ticket too expensive. The way the father is listing everything symbolizes the airline companies are charging for every little things. Also, the co-pilot holding out his hand symbolizes safety, but they will also charge you for your safety. Although charging extras is reasonable in every businesses, charging for every single specific things is unreasonable because basic things like luggage and snacks are supposed to be included in what customers already paid for. Luggage, foods, and safety are supposedly the most basic things you can get on a long distance transportation. By charging for it meaning the airline companies are expecting their customers to not come with anything but themselves, and they wouldn't feel hungry for about four hours. What kind of logic is that? Charging for you and your luggage's insurance is also unreasonable because that's suppose to be included. By not including it, they are saying that they are not responsible for you and your belonging's safety. Attachments:
