In the cartoon above, the people on the airplane are watching and listening to the flight attendant as she recites the safety rules on the airplane to them. In her speech, she says "In the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure, an oxygen mask will drop from the compartment above your head and for $15, you can activate it". The cartoonist is trying to say in a sarcastic way that our future airline fees will become ridiculous at any extent. Although charging a fee of extra items is a usual result in every business, charging a fee for every single thing just isn't logical. Especially when its at the expense of our safety as we travel in the air. People will began to feel the sense of "every man for himself" when they travel because ever necessity that you need will cost you an arm and a leg, leaving you with the decision to find another way of transportation to your destination. I believe that if our economic problems aren't fixed in a matter of time, we will also be charged ridiculous prices for every little thing we do in life like those master card priceless commercials, but instead everything will have a cost.
