In this tauntingly contemptuous political cartoon it shows a doctor aiding Uncle Sam after watching the Republicans and Democrats, represented by the elephant and donkey knocked out on the ground with boxing gloves, battling for healthcare; the doctor goes on to say "Here take two asprins..That'll be 1200 bucks" showing the consequence of the healthcare reform not being passed. This cartoon displays one of the most contriversal topics in the govenment today. It is both amusing and very well put about showing that Obamas push for health care is a battle that he seems not to be able to win, but no one is seeing the long term affect of what will happen if not passed. In the cartoon the doctor prices the asprins at 1200$, which is more than anyone will ever be willing to pay, but its also a slap in the faces to the Republicans. Obamas plans should be passed and if not a large amount of people will be withoiut healthcare.
