In this political cartoon, we see how Tiger Woods, Bill Clinton, and Mark Sanford are competing for the award "Best Apology for Cheating On Wife"; Woods wins first place and Clinton shows frustration by complaining how Tiger always has to be first place at everything, yet the three place for the most hypocritical apologies for commiting adultery.
As we can see, politicians and sport icons make mistakes just like everyone else, but the difference is that their mistakes are viewed by the public eye because they are supposed to set an example for us. Even if they may apologize, they are always going to be looked down upon and their actions will have a negative effect on their careers.
