In this cartoon, Tiger Woods is shown with a golf club in hand. The "golf ball" which he is to hit is not only large, but also chained to his leg. It is labeled "Tiger's affairs." The flag marking the hole has the phrase "Mea culpa" written on it. This is Latin for "my fault," and the cartoon is a depiction of how Woods cannot admit to his faults. Although Tiger Woods has apologized for his multiple affairs, this by no means justifies them. As a husband, he should have remained faithful to his wife; no excuse for adultery exists. If Woods has the urge to sleep with anything on two legs, why bother getting married at all? His reputation has been ruined, several endorsements withdrawn, and his relationship with his wife will never be the same. His apology holds no meaning, and it is questionable whether he really regrets the whole incident, or if he is only sorry that he was caught.
