In the political cartoon presented, one can see a yellow car crashed into a tree with Barack Obama leanig on the vehicle and speaking with a police officer. Obama explains the situation by simply stating that "The gas pedal got stuck". One can also see that in the small area above the license plate "Health Care" is written, thus transforming the car into a symbol of Obama's failed health care plan. The speed Obama exhibited to ensure the success of his actions in turn left the president's plan in the same condition as the car.
The artist's depiction of Obama's Health Care Plan truly shows his negative feelings towards the idea. Simply put, it has failed, therefore affecting American society as a whole. Many people will now suffer from the lack of proper funding to ensure their health and many more will be devastated since there is no money to help them recieve good treatment to achieve good health. Also, tax payers will have to begin losing more money to taxes in order to repair the Health Care Plan's crash. I know there is still hope for the plan though, however, Obama needs to slow down, prioritize and focus on one thing at a time.
