In this picture the people are driving what would seem to be a Toyota by the statement "The accelerator's stuck.." because of the current recall on Toyota's for that same problem. The people in the car aren't stopping while going up the increasing line graph. The graph is labeled as U.S. debt so this cartoon signifies that U.S. debt keeps increasing and isn't stopping. The ever increasing U.S. debt does not seem to be stopping any time soon because like Toyota's our brakes on spending are broken but the U.S. can still redeem itself. It is not too late to reduce the spending in America in any area possible. The amount spent on things that aren't important are unnecessary when they could be spending it on things like health care and education. These things can better us as a nation and pull us through this economic downfall.
