 In this cartoon we see the two men wearing the car companies, Toyota and Ford. They appear to be at a bar or dinner. The two men exchange dialog and the Toyota man asks the Ford man if he remembers the acronym for "Ford". The Ford man says that he does not recall and the Toyota man turns around and looks down in discuss. The Ford man asks -Do you?- as in do u remember? at the bottom left there appears to be a title that states Toyota RECALLS Millions... . At the bottom right there is an article that says Ford Named Best of Show. The artist is actually talking about the millions of Toyota Priest recalls that have occurred. The Toyota cars have recalled because of a malfunction in the gas pedal. The artist is comparing the Ford to the Toyota and how the Ford has not been recalled. Thats why the Ford man says I don't recall. This cartoon may personally effect me because my family owns a Toyota car and if this problem occurred in just one model, then maybe it could happen to the older models. Although Toyota has very fuel efficient cars, it is necessary that safety be more important. I agree with the artist opinion. The Ford company has a higher liking than the Toyota right now. |

Although Toyota has very fuel efficient cars, it is necessary that safety be more important. The Ford company has a higher liking than the Toyota right now. Honda and Ford might be effected next because they receive pedals from the same company that Toyota does. Toyota has done many test on this car but how can they miss something like a malfunctioning gas pedal. That's what makes the car accelerate. In the test that Toyota preformed on the car, this problem should have come up. Toyota didn't test their car well enough. Toyota should not order any parts from their pedal supplier and switch to a different one.
