 In this photo President Obama is shown in a picture before his first year when he was enthusiastic about all of the great things he would accomplish within his first year. Apparently that is why he has a long list called " Yes We Can" with a thumbs up and has many people behind him that believe and support him. But after his first year the artist shows that President Obama is disappointed because of all of the promises he was suppose to fulfill , he failed at doing so and all he really accomplished compares to a sticky note. The cartoonist uses sarcasm and ridicule in a humorous way to state his opinion of how he and some people in the world believe President Obama has used his time within his first year of office, they believe he has spend his time doing nothing. But I personally feel that Obama is doing the best he can in trying to fulfill his promises to his nation. He is fighting Congress everyday to help pass bills and make them law so it can benefit everyone,and in return all he receives back is negative criticism. I know if people had the same determination and faith they had before to elect him to become president, they should have that now and know that he will fulfill his duty as president to help his nation and his people. |

But I personally feel that Obama is doing the best he can in trying to fulfill his promises to his nation. He is fighting Congress everyday to help pass bills for example with healthcare and getting rejected from Republicans everyday, because of the lack of support he has or when he makes a speech to Congress and they respond to him by calling him a liar. If everyone had the same drive and determination they had to elect him as president, they should still have that drive of wanting him to succeed and stop doubting his capabilities. |

Apparently that is why he has a long list called " Yes We Can" with a thumbs up because the people on this list have faith in knowing he will achieve his goals when he becomes president.
