This cartoon pokes fun at how the republicans are on the verge of Power and rebellion against the democrats after the Kennedy Seat Loss situation. I agree with the fact that the democrats are in trouble with the republicans rising in power and rebellion. During the "Kennedy Seat Loss' situation, Obama's health care plans were in danger of being imperiled as the republicans wanted the Tuesday Massachusetts election to cloud Obamas agenda and ruin his health care reforms. This was a victory to republicans as they are starting to gain more power and the democrats are losing control as they are even in danger of losing their own seats. I concour with the fact that the republicans are on the rise after the Kennedy lost his seat and the democrats are in trouble. Attachments:

In the cartoon "Kennedy Seat Loss", I see a victorious anthromorphic Republican elephant holding a shield and a sword thats pierced on the corpse of a possible Democratic supporter with his blood spilling on the ground that resembles a red-colored state of Massachusetts (Massachusetts was a blue, Democratic state at one time,) near a sign that reads "Democrats". This cartoon pokes fun at how the republicans are on the verge of power and rebellion against the Democrats after the Kennedy Seat Loss situation. It shows with the red Massachusetts as Massachusetts is a former Democratic state and it is now becoming a Republican state.
