Jim Day, The Las Vegas Review Journal, Nevada In this cartoon there are two people, probably a married couple walking away from the bank. The couple says if you rob a bank thats a crime, but if the bank robs you then its called a bail-out. The bank has a sign that says its twenty five dollars to walk into the lobby. The headline of the cartoon reads "bailed out banks enrich top executives". This cartoon explains the bail outs the banks are getting and giving to companies in the United States. Currently all stocks are being sold because the economy is crashing and burning. People respond by selling stocks and companies that are going under are getting bailed out with millions of dollars when they should be failing. The couple walked away angry because they got cheated out of their money or robbed, by the bank charging 25 dollars to get in to deposit your money. all the money the banks are making are only making themselves richer because the money they charge is going back to the employees.
