You are to create a cartoon based on a current issue. The cartoon must show an understanding of the issue through the argument evident in the cartoon. The medium you choose is entirely up to you, but you must ensure that all elements of political cartoons are evident:
1) There must be some image.
2) There must be some accompanying text.
3) There must be some satirical elements.
4) There must be some metaphorical elements.
You may create the cartoon using any computer software with which you are comfortable; you may use posterboard; you may use construction paper: whatever medium best suits your abilities, use. No part of the rubric is based on artistic ability; however, I do expect to see effort in the art you do present.
This is due Monday, January 12th.
