In this political cartoon you see three scenarios. The first one is a woman stomping on a man for the last Elmo. The other one show a big angry guy giving every one the "bird" because he is stuck and traffic. The last picture shows two guys drinking and one is totally drunk. After seeing all this you read at the bottom " how will you be celebrating the birth of Christ?"
My first thoughts of Christmas is always family gathering around the Christmas tree drinking a cup of hot chocolate and sharing memories and presents. But now I feel like Christmas has lost its value. The only thing people talk about now is "are you going to the big Christmas sale at Wal-mart this weekend." During those sales people act like crazy mad men or women. Customers will fight over items on the shelfs, especially if it is the last one left, just because they are getting 30% off. Due to the fact everyone one is rushing to go to these big sale, the roads are always busy causing major traffic. Which makes a man, who is probably tired from working the double shift and just want to go home, eat his chicken, and go to bed, very angry causing him to provoke scurrilous remarks towards others. Every big business corporations always have a Christmas party. Giving the up tight workers a chance to get loose. It starts with only one drink and before the party ends someone is passed out from being drunk. But is that how people should celebrate Christmas? The day thats referred to the birthday of Christ. Is this how Christ would want to see his people behaving? I only have one thing to say about people who act crazy during Christmas, "Ya'll need Jesus."
