After the 2008 election, Americans have begun to worry about what will happen in the next election in 2012. Sarah Palin once again has begun dreaming of becoming president of the United States of America in 2012. In the 2008 election, many Americans believed that Sarah Palin had ruined the election for John McCain. Many say that she began dreaming of how she “may” become president. In this cartoon, the two observers say, “She’s going off script again.” This statement shows that she went into this “fantasy” before too. This cartoon shows that Palin is planning on running for President position in America in 2012. Palin is standing on the stage with a poster that says “Palin 2012.”
Many Americans know that Sarah Palin most probably will lose the election for President in 2012, which mainly worries the Republicans. It is quite understandable for Republicans to fear another election involving Sarah Palin. John McCain was smart in his decision to pick a woman as his running mate, but his choice in Palin brought his campaign down. This may bring another Democratic leader for our nation. Just the thought of having Sarah Palin as President worries many because of her lack of knowledge, and her weak decision making efforts. The point of this cartoon is to show people that clearly Sarah Palin should not run for president. Her attempt as vice president was very weak, and more than probably it will be the same if she ran for President. If I was republican, I would worry because she would be my candidate running for President. Palin needs to open her eyes and see that she is not meant to be President and forget this “dream” as “she is going off script again.”
