Mike Lane In this cartoon there is a husband and wife in bed sleeping right before thanksgiving. There is a pig leaning over the bed telling the couple not to eat pig, but to eat turkey. The quilt has many designs in it and there is a pilgrim hat on the bed hanging above them. The pig in this cartoon is trying to convince the pilgrims that on thanksgiving not to eat pig , but to eat turkey on thanksgiving so he can live. I'm guessing this is the time right before the first thanksgiving and the pilgrims are trying to decide what to share with the Native Americans. How turkey was picked? I don't know, but my family eats pig

Good work analyzing the cartoon, Thomas, but there was no argument in response to the topic in the cartoon.
No reply to a classmate.
