Jimmy Margulies, New Jersey -- The Record 10/21/08 In this political cartoon, President George W. Bush is seen golfing off of a tee. As he is swinging, Bush yells the typical golfing term "Fore!" as the homes behind him yell back, "Closure!". President Bush is happy and content with his golf game, as seen in his smile, seeming unconcerned with the difficult problem home foreclosure has faced Americans. The replied statement "closure" could either be coming from the empty homes of foreclosed citizens, or from the Americans inside suffering from foreclosure's challenges. One might ask what is Forclosure? Foreclosure is an issue that involves the displacement of Americans from their homes if they are unable to pay mortgage payments to banks. Due to the financial problems Bush has watched exceed in his presidency, many Americans are agonizingly losing their homes. Bush's unawareness about this horrible problem is confusing, since it is usually believed that a president can fix and deal with issues at hand. President Bush should probably stop golfing, taking vacations, and straying from the real issues, and actually do what his job entails.
