This it a political cartoon for voting in the election. Whats happening is there is a family in their house hiding from voting advertisments trying to get away from them. The people outside are trying to convince the couple inside to vote for whoever it is they are for. The advertisements are all around them on the t.v, on the answering machine, outside on the airplane, and knocking on their door. The family wants to escape but they cant.
This is how people can feel around election time. Everyone is pushing their ideals and canidates on them that nobody can make their own decisions. The family is constantly being harassed by all these poeple and just want to be left alone, but there are people everywhere trying to influence them. Times now compared to the old days there is too much media pushing candidates and their beliefs.
