In this political cartoon, it This political cartoon shows an illustration of President Elect Barack Obama standing; in the background it also shows Martian Luther King Jr. and Abraham Lincoln, as spirits, resting their hands on his shoulders, with a look of jubilation on their faces. This cartoon is saying that after many, many years from Lincoln making the Emancipation Proclamation, declaring slaves to have their freedom to Martian Luther King Jr. making his “I Have a Dream” speech has made a glorious impact on Nov 4, 2008 and in history, when Barack Obama was announced the first African-American President of the United States; this truly shows from those days, centuries ago, the African-American race has made it very far and opening the door wide for others.

Please review the modification I made. Your second paragraph does not include an argument related to the topic of the cartoon; it only summarizes the cartoon.
