This cartoon is showing how big of a threat obesity is to people all around the world today. The cartoon has "Bird Flu" and "Global Warming" sitting on the right side of the bench and has "Obesity" sitting on the left. A sign is posted behind the three problems stating "Global Threat Waiting Area". This is basically showing that obseity in the world today is just as in important to take control of as global warming and the bird flu.
This cartoon is really important in many ways. I for one, am not obese and I definitly prefer the way that I am. I enjoy taking care of myself so I can look the way that I do and I believe that the whole world should do the same. Obesity is a problem in America today. The cartoon is not the only thing showing that obesity is a problem. Statistics and records show that obseity is becoming a major problem and it shold be taken care of my having more work out groups and certain programs so people can lose wait and prevent health problems in the future.
