Daryl Cagle, MSNBC.com, 9/24/08 Pictured in this cartoon is a pit bull putting on lipstick. This pit bull represents Sarah Palin. "I look like a pig?" is directly referring to a remark Obama made about lipstick and pigs. The reason Sarah Palin is picture as a pit bull is because of her "joke" which was, "You know the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick". The "What?" in the other bubble shows that Sarah Palin obviously took offense to the remark. Barack Obama made this remark while an interviewer and himself were speaking about the economy. Why this turned into something this big escapes me. It seems as if it was just an attempt to take the focus off of the problems in the United States. It is rather ironic that John McCain would accuse Obama of being sexist when McCain actually said it himself when speaking about Hilary Clinton. All the Republicans are doing is trying to stall as long as they can, the election is in November and just a few more off-topic remarks should get them through to the election without being politicians and attempting to lie their way through the questions.
