Adam Zyglis, Buffalo, NY, The Buffalo News In this political cartoon we see who appear to be President Bush, and one of his secret service personnel. The two are standing atop an abundance of rubble, strewn amongst the rubble are signs that read Bank, A.I.G (an international insurance and financial organization), and Lehman Brothers (a global investment bank who just went bankrupt). Notice that President Bush is holding a megaphone, speaking into the megaphone he says,”People of Galveston…” ,just then next to him you see the security personnel mentioning to him, “Sir, this is Wall Street…” . This mistake between Wall Street and the devastation that took place in Texas shows how truly in shambles the stock market is. This political cartoon points out not only the fact that Bush is a moron, and oblivious to the distinctions between the devastations taking place across the nation, but also how damaged the stock market has recently become. The rubble, pictured in the political cartoon represents the recent and significant drops in the stock market, but notice how closely the wreckage in the cartoon meant to be Wall Street, looks verisimilitude the devastation left behind by Hurricane Ike. The political cartoon stands to represent the recent havoc that has been unleashed upon the United States in the past few weeks.

No argument present; two paragraphs of analysis. "Verisimilitude" is a noun, not an adjective.
