This cartoon displays the well know Charlie Brown holding a bowl of dog food standing in front of Snoopy's dog house. the sign on the doghouse reads "Went out for pizza -S." Behind the house you can also see a newspaper with the title "Tainted Pet Food." This Cartoon is referring to the recent problems with many brands of pet food leading to a pet food recall.
The cartoon expresses that not even dogs aren’t willing to take the risk of eating their own food. The pet food recall has scared many pet owners, but it’s ultimately the animals that are stuck eating the tainted food. The cartoon is humorous and gets the point across that not only humans are fed up with the tainted pet food.
