This cartoon portrays Britney Spears throwing things out of her purse in search of something. She is wearing some type of half shirt with boots, a hat and skirt, which is showing an abundant amount of skin. As she is rummaging through the purse she says, "I lost my kids...". Behind Britney there are fascinated fans watching her every move. They respond, "You mean the courts forced you to give up custody?" Britney's reply, "No I've actually lost them."

As you may know, the court took away Britney's custody rights of her two children, Sean and Jayden. This was a wise decision because Britney is obviously going through some tough times and she needs to get it together. Britney has shown people that she is not fit to be a parent at the moment. There have been several incidents in which she has been put on the spotlight for the safety of her two boys. It seems like the only pictures with Britney and her children are ones that can be used against her in proving she isn't ready to be a mom. Driving with her son in her lap, carrying her child in one hand and holding a cigarette in the other, and almost dropping her son as she walks are all incidents that have actually happened and have been photographed. If she really does care about her kids then she sure does not show it. When Britney finally decides to step up to the plate and be a mother who cares, then and only then should she get back custody rights of her children.

The cartoon clearly displays how careless and unorganized Britney Spears is. With all that she has gone through in her life recently such as a divorce, Britney isn’t capable of caring for herself let alone two little boys. The cartoon shows Britney searching through her purse because she had lost her kids. Its one thing to loose your car keys but to loose your children is unacceptable.
Bringing up past experiences where Britney showed poor parenting skills was a good way to support you argument. Moments where she was seen driving with a child in her lap was simply careless and irresponsible, making it clear taking away her children was the best choice.

Your interpretation of this cartoon was completely accurate. Britney Spears is not suit to be mom. She is indeed going through difficult times and maybe right now is not a very good time for her to have custody of her kids. She does drugs and does not put her children in safe environments. When she does prove that she is capable of taking care of her children, that is when she will get them back. But at this rate, she will not be getting custody of her kids anytime soon.
