In this cartoon Bush is ducking from a flying shoe. At the bottom is a quote by thingy Cheney reading" We will be greeted as liberators. The Iraqis will throw flowers...".
Bush was recently "attacked" by an Iraqi reporter who called Bush a dog seconds before he threw his shoes toward the "lame duck" president. Before the war thingy Cheny made the quote above and made it seem as if the United States would have no worries while in Iraq. Eight years later things couldn't be any worse. The Iraqis want us out, al qaeda are killing troops and American morale is low. It's rather funny how Cheny expected flowers, but instead we(Bush) received a shoe instead. I honestly can't blame the reporter though, Bush has single handedly destroyed Iraq and the United States. The United States has the worst economy ever and the Iraqis just want their old lives back. It's time to get out of there, it's time to restore our countries back to the way they were. Democracy can't be forced upon a nation who is unwilling to adopt it's policies. Like the old saying, "you can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves". The Iraqis don't want democracy, they Iraqis will never want a democracy because the country is just to unstable to support one.
